Frisky Whiskey (@drinkfrisky - the only Black woman-owned flavored whiskey on the market) offered curated cocktails based on “calm” and “chaos”. Thanks to dear friend @nicoleyoungstyle ) . Music beats provided the ultimate vibe thanks to @djkharisma from Scratch Event DJs. A digital “Calm In The Chaos Bag” in partnership w @nfshe_official w/ the real-life version was there. I was just so grateful to be able to experience my first tour stop for my first published book here in NYC in this super epic way. - ##check## The Riveter presents: Protecting Your IP: Founder Fundamentals with Stacy Igel
- Real talk from the trenches of building a company over 20+ years - and protecting the unique and original work product upon which it's all based. You are building & creating something original. How can you establish your ownership and protect it from being stolen, misrepresented or otherwise used without permission? Stacy Igel has been there. In this session, Stacy will take you through her own history creating from the ground up and the steps you can take as a founder to protect your IP at every stage of your company. This is not meant to replace legal advice - neither Stacy nor The Riveter are acting in the capacity of a lawyer nor purport to be! - but these steps will have the potential save you a lot of time, aggravation, and money in the course of doing business.
