My Tips: Sales, Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Thanksgivukkah!

November 25, 2013
It's so crazy that Chanukah falls around Thanksgiving this year(Thanksgivukkah)! This hasn't happened since 1888 and won't happen again for another 79,000 years! Friday kicks off the holiday shopping craziness so of I wanted to share with you guys my tips on how to shop Black Friday and Cyber Monday like a pro!

Bergdorf Goodman opens at 8AM on Friday 11/29/13(first time ever)! Guess who will be there?

1. Make a list of who you need to buy for!
This way you don't forget anyone!  Write everyone down you need to get something for whether it's your best friend, niece/nephew or your co-workers! Keep track of who you've bought gifts for. I like to do that via a google-doc spreadsheet, my evernote app and sometimes old school on the back of my WWD!

2. Check out the sales beforehand!
See who has the best deals on the items you need! Some people might be doing 40-50% off some might be at 70%! Some might have additional freebies! It's good to know what everyone's planning and what its going to be the hot ticket items! I made a list below of some the many great sales going both online & offline that I am excited about and some have even started today!

3. Plan out what sales you want to take advantage off and where you want to go!
Now that you know who you need to buy for and what kind of sales are out there, it's time to decide what to get them! Choose places that you can buy more than one gift from! Whether its going into the store or shopping online, you'll save time and money and shipping!

4. Set your budget and stay focused!
I think it's best to set a budget for how much you're willing to spend on everyone and to try and stick to it as much as possible! For these crazy holiday sales, retailers like to throw out surprises that can detour your shopping plan, but remain strong! You got this!

Happy Shopping!
