Introducing our July ‘14 Muse of the Month, Naomi!

I got the chance to work with Naomi this past September at the Just Dance with Boy Meets Girl® NYFW show. Our first meeting was during my fitting with her. Thankfully, the dress I made for Naomi fit like a glove and Naomi was just excited as me! We clicked right away. Naomi has a beautiful vibe and is uber talented multi-tasking many roles as an actor, a host and the list goes on. 2. Favorite charity to support and why?

My favorite charity to support is BAFTA. It's a British independent charity that develops and promotes the arts of the moving image. I have a particular interest in their Young Game Designers division in which young students with a passion for games develop skills that can lead to careers in the industry. It's a charity I believe is needed so that students can begin their pursuit of games at a young age and feel truly supported in the process. Working in the games industry isn't an unrealistic aspiration, it's a real goal to have, and BAFTA is there to help you realize and attain that goal. I only wish such an initiative as the YGD initiative existed when I was growing up.

3. Favorite Boy Meets Girl® item and why?

The Drip Tee is my favorite Boy Meets Girl® piece. Not only am I a fan of grey cotton shirts, I'm also a lover of tops that are bold and unique. The drip tee nails that idea perfectly with the half tank, half t-shirt concept. A statement piece that can by styled in multiple different ways and worn for any occasion from a chilled out evening playing video games, to a red carpet event. It's the kind of shirt that breeds style inspiration and I'm excited to watch that unfold. It's a definite, the drip tee will get multiple uses out of me, I may even need a back up!
