My tips: How to de-stress

February 22, 2013
Wow what a month it's been! As you all New York Fashion Week just passed. It was amazing! Check out all the photos here to see what happened at the Boy Meets Girl® show from bts to the runway to the red carpet and all the incredible press coverage! Also stay tuned because in the next few weeks I will be giving my FULL NYFW recap(from What I wore and much more)!

Today, I wanted to talk about "de-stressing". I'm constantly on the go and working a mile a minute and to say that my life is stressful at times is an understatement. So when times get particularly crazy I have a few go to things that I do to get through the stressful times. Check them out below!

1. Watching documentaries!
I love love love watching documentaries even when I'm not stressed (see here)! I find it so interesting to learn about other people's lives and how they came to be where they are today. Two of my favorites that I recently watched are Katy Perry and Justin Bieber's. I also watched the Beyonce documentary and liked it a lot but recommend seeing Katy's and Bieber's first :) I took my nice to Katy Perry's and I think I enjoyed it more then her lol!

2. Reading Biographies and Autobiographies!
Just like I mentioned above I find it fascinating to learn about other designers and/or artists and musicians and how they got to be where they are today. My latest Biography I read was on one of my favorite designers Coco Channel(see past post here) and Autobiography was Purpose by my friend Wyclef Jean.

3. Working out(Yoga/Pilates/Soul Cycle/Core Fusion/Physique57)!
I love working out and wish I put it more in my weekly schedule. When I work out I feel my best both inside and out. I am a fan of all types of forms of exercise. And all of the above mentioned help me unwind and distress and make me feel happy with my arms :)

4. Singing Karaoke!
This is when you can really release all that stress. You might not have the best voice but it doesn't matter when you sing Karaoke!

What do you do to de-stress?
